DINO MELAYE DUMPS APC

Dino Melaye has hinted on dumping the All Progressives Congress, APC. The embattled senator representing Kogi West in Kogi State, Nigeria dropped this hint on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday 30th May, 2018.
According to available reports, he is set to join the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
The senator who is currently at loggerheads with the Nigerian police raised a point of order (14) at the sitting wherein he thanked his colleagues, members of the House of Representatives, his constituents and Nigerians for standing by him during his travails, Naij.com reports.
The senator then proceeded to thank the People's Democratic Party for standing by him and asked the Senate President to mandate the Sergeant-at-arms to create a seat for him at the opposition corner of the Chamber. He further announced that for the moment, he will be sitting beside former Senate President, David Mark until a seat is allocated to him.
Thereafter, the senator who was dressed in white with a neck collar, indicating that he was still in pains, was aided by some of his colleagues to his preferred seat.
